OTAKI ELECTION. TO MY SXJPPOBTEES. Ladies and gentlemen,—i cannot too strongly nrge on yon the great danger of over-confidence and indifference, which hare lost many an election, and may lose this one. My opponent will receive the votes of the great body of the Prohibitionists, and also of a large section of the Opposition. He will therefore poll heavily. To prevent widespread misunderstanding, I desire to make it plain to electors that no matter how they vote on the Local Option Poll they can vote for me as their Parliamentary representative. To render my election a certainty, I ask that every elector who desires my return WILL TAKE THE TEOTJLE TO POLL ON ELECTION DAY. Yours faithfully, W. H. PIELD. ,
