THE MASTERTON MEDICAL SCANDAL. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) Wednesday. 4.30 p.m. Mr Dormer, the contractor for the Bank of Now Zealand building here, has Ju.sl finished his contract. The work is very creditable both as to style and workmanship. The opening of the Stirling bridge, over the Mangatainoka, is now fixed to take place on the 6th of December. The Eketahuna County Council’s action in appointing Dr Hosking as its representative on the Wairarapa District Hospital Board is adversely criticiged here, owing to the doctor’s conncction with the Mastcrton Hospital scandal.
