ACCIDENTS.

(By Telegraph.—Own Correspondents.) EKETAHUNA, October 15. A settler named Lafgreen, working on the new bridge over the -Mangataiuoka, at Stirling, fell from the struo_ ture yesterday, and was considerably bruised. A nasty buggy accident happened to Mr J. Jones, a well-known storekeeper, on the Alfredton road yesterday. Tie horse he was driving commenced kicking vigorously, and took complete command, and the animal, endeavouring to negotiate a wire fence, Mr Jones was thrown heavily on the road, receiving nasty scalp wounds, a fracture of the small bone of the left leg, and was severely bruised about the body.
