GREYTOWN NORTH.
(By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) Thursday, 4.30 "p.m. A man named Leslie McCann was sentenced to twenty one -days' imprisonment with hard labour to-day for obtaining relief from the Charitable Aid Board under false pretences. It was proved that the man had considerable mcncy in his possession when relief was gained. An effort is being made to purchase a, steam fire engine for Greytown, with every prospect of success.
