The annual report of the Taratahi-Car. terton Racing Club shows thatjhe yea* commenced with a balance of .£721 Is 6d. This has been increased to JCI2OI 12s 9d.; The club having purchased the Taratahl 1 course property, it is proposed to improve the present stand before November next, after which the course will he remodelled and new buildings erected. PRESS ASSOCIATION". MELBOURNE. August 20. The thoroughbred stallion Finland, has been purchased for New Zealand.
