Further figures offered by the experts give the average utilisation of wool per capita of the world’s ponuiation at 4.451 b in the grease and 2.401 b cleansed. This again is the smallest per capita consumption of wool by the world’s people for many years. In 1895 it was estimated at almost 31b per capita of clean wool.
