A notice of the dissolution of the wellknown patent firm of Hughes, Bayward and Baldwin has already appeared in our columns. Under the deed of dissolution, Mr W. E. Hughes succeeds to the husine=s, and becomes entitled to carry on the business of the late firm, as its successor. It has been stated in various news-' papers that Messrs Bayward and Baldwin are carrying on the business in succession to the late partnership. This, we have ascertained, is quite erroneous; that Mr Hughes—and Mr H.nghes alone—is entitled to carry on, and is carrying on the business in succession to the late firm, at his offices.
