WEDDING.

At St. Paul’s Pro-Cathedral yesterday afternoon, Alisa Gabriollc lia.aso, elder daughter of Airs Haase. "Covinda," Aurora terrace, was married to Mr P 1,. Biss, of the Union Steam Ship Company’s staff. Tho bride, who was given away by Air Henry Hall, wore a beautiful gown of ivory white brocade with court train and trimmed with real point lace, chiffon and orange blossoms. The bridesmaids were Alisa Ouida Haase, sister of the bride, and Mias Foster, of (he Lower Hutt. The former wore a gold bangle and the latter a brooch set with turquoise and pearls, hath gifts from the bridegroom. The dresses worn by the bridesmaids were dainty trained gowns of white innslin and insertion, with white chiffon sashes, anil hats with pinnies. The hride carried a handsome shower bouquet, the bridesmaids white bnuqhots wilh bright led berries and red streamers, ami the Bride's mother n shaded gold bouquet with gold streamers. Air CJ. Cooper and Air Walter Betliune were the groomsmen. Tho marriage was solemnised bv the Pev T. IT. Snrott. As the wedding party loft tlie church, Air \. G. Kemp, at the organ, played Mendelssohn's “Wedding March:” A reception was afterwards hold r,t tho residence of the bride’s mother, who were a rich black silk, trimmed with cream sat'n and gold. Tho hrido’s going-awny dross was of sapphire blue poplin, trimmed with velvet of tho same colour and white satin with hat to match.
