ACTION FOR LIBEL
■ CLAIM FOR £SOOO DAMAGES. 1 __ ’' V SYDNEY, March 28. The burlesque actress Billie Barlow, suing' as Mrs Minnie. Stuart Menzies, has commenced an action against tho' “Bulletin” claiming £SOOO damages for alleged libellous comment on tha stage dress which she-wore while appearing in a pantomime at the Tivoli Theatre. Tho comment complained of is contained in a paragraph published in the issue of 12th January. The jury visited the theatre last night, when the plaintiff appeared in the dress upon whiph the paragraph animadverted.
