PETONE BOROUGH COUNCIL. I HEREBY give notice that the Council of the Borough of Petone proposes, under “The Municipal Corporations .Act 1900,’’ to Borrow by way of Special Loan of Seven Thousand Pounds t-CTChi); for the itin pose of the followin'* works, viz.; The formation and metalling of public streets of the Borough, and the construction of footpaths thereto, and the kerbing and channelling thereof, and for the purchase, taking, and acquisition of land necessary for the construction of new streets, and the continuation and widening of existing streets of the Borough. And the Council also proposes to make and pledge a special rate of fourpence in the pound (annual basis) on all ratable property in the Borough as security for such loan and the interest thereon, and proposes that the whole amount of the loan shall be repayable on the 13th February. 1911 ' R.
