FITZGERALD BEOS.’ CIRCUS,

Tiie six nights’ season of the wellknown Fitzgerald Bros/ circus will open on Monday evening on the reclaimed land opposite the education Board offices. Since its last appearance here the combination bus been acquiring a considerable accession of attractions from all parts-of the world. Prominent among tlmso are the Dunbar trio (from Barnaul's), Mdlle. Rhodes!:!*-(lady juggler), the Jandaschsvski family of clowns and equestriennes (from the Grand Cirque de Euase) La Belle Rose (swirl dancer), Madame Adelina Antonio, aerialist (from the London Aquarium), Miss Katie Montgomery, eonestrieune; Schraeder, tricK cyclist- Miss Millie Dagmar, equestrienne; the Karl Brothers, performers on the horizontal bar; Mdllo. Margaretta, hurdle ridor: and Gilliaumo and Aougust, French clowns. The menagerie has also been -largely added to. The prices are 4s, 3s, 2s and Is; children halfprice, except in the pit.

Another crowded house greeted Dix’s Gaiety Company at tho Theatre Royal last night with laughter and applause. Mr Geo. Dean,, the clever actor-comedian, who is a great favourite with Wellington audiences, was tho recipient of a very hearty send-off. ■ The patrons of the Choral Hall rolled up in great numbers last night to see the lost- of this week’s most successful bill. The engagement of Air Cadzow has undoubtedly strengthened the present Empire Vaudeville Company.
