Mr G. G. Stead’s horses Skobeloff and Cruciform, which have been competing at the Wanganui and Hawke’s Bay meetings, returned to Christchurch yesterday, in charge of E. J. Mason. Mr Danvers Hambar (“Petronel ’). of the "Auckland Review,” who has been appointed to a position on the ‘’Weekly Press,” passed through yesterday on his way South.
