THE FORBES TRAGEDY
SYDNEY. March 20. Hopes are entertained for the recovery of Mrs Richards, the wife of a iveilknown squatter at Forbes, in the Lachlan River, who was seriously wouncied by her son (who afterwards committed suicide), shooting her in the back as she ran away after he had shot his father dead. ■ At the inquest as to young Richards s suicide, and lus father’s death, the jury returned a verdict that tho deed was committed during temporary insanity.
