SWIMMING
The Wellington team of ten swimmers ; will leave by this morning’s train to compete at the championship carnival at Wsu. nganui on Thursday and Saturday, The men, who have been selected from the Wellington, Tborndon and Swifts Clubs, have been assiduously training for some time past, and should give a good account of themselves. In addition to Tyler, the Auckland champion, F. Robertson and Or. A. Wilkes are entered for the championship swimming event. J. T. Gray, captain of the Thorndon Amateur Swimming/ Club, and A. W. Smith, of the same club, will represent Tborndon in the championship plunge and the high dive.
