An inquest was held on Saturday ■ at! Otaki by Mr W. H. Simeos. J.P., on tire body of Miss Tryphena Dyer, who died at the Otaki Hospital on Friday! last. The jury 1 returned a verdict of j death by ptomaine poisoning, caused bwj eating meat (brawn) in a state of de-| composition. The brawn is stated to! have been purchased at a shop in "Wei-! lington. |
