WELLINGTON GUARDS. The “A” and “B” Classes held the fifth competition for class trophies at Karori range on Saturday, the ranges being 300 and 600 yards, ten shots per range for "A" Class and seven shots per range for ( 'B” Class (handicap). Some fair scores were made. There is one more match to go for both classes. This will be fired next week, the ranges being 500 and 600 yards. There are three prizes in each class, the highest aggregate scorers in the six matches to become the winners. Following are the best scores made and the highest aggregates:

At the Auckland Rifle Association’# meeting yesterday and to-day the "Henaid” Cup was won by Morison ’ (Paeroa) with a score of 66; the "Star" Cup by Parslow (Paeroa), 64; the championship hy Lieutenant Cox (Victoria Rifles) after a tie with Webster (of the Akarana Rifle Club); the Avondale trophy by Lieutenant Salmon, (Navals); and Whitney’s trophy by Henderson.
