The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company report on their Palmerston North sale last Thursday as follows: —-Thor© was a geiod attendance of buyers, and a moderate yarding of cattle, but only a few lines of sheep came forward. Jimuing was fairly brisk, most lines being quitted under the hammer. ■ The balance, with the exception of one oi-two pens of cows and heifers, was disposed of ■ privately.
