BOILERS IN WARSHIPS.
REPORT OF A COMMITTEE OE EXPERTS.
LONDON, March 13. The committee of experts appointed by Mr Gosohen, late First Lord of the Admiralty, in July last to inquire into the efficiency of Belleville boilers in warships, has presented an interim report. The committee recommends the use in future of some type of watertube boiler other than Belleville, but that the Belleville boilers already fitted in vessels may remain.
