WOOL SALES.
THE NEW SERIES. The New Zealand Loan and’ Mercantile Agency Company, Limited, is in receipt of the following wool cable from its London house :-Wool- —The sales, opened firmly at a level of last’sale, with theexception -of crossbred, in which'there is a decline of about 6 per cent on last sales closing rates. Competition by both Home and foreign buyers is fairly active. Messrs Murray, Roberts and Co. have received the following wool market cablegram from, their London house, Messrs Sanderson, Murray and' Co. : ; dated 12t’i instant:—“Sales have opened without animation. Average attendance of buyers. Competition moderate. Market shows no material change, except for crossbreds, which have declined 6 to 7 j percent.”
