OROTJA BEATS VICTORIA. PBESS ASSOCIATION. PALMERSTON, March 12. Tho polo match Victoria v. Groua, winners of the Savile Cup last year, resulted in a win for the latter by 7 goals to 3. Victoria was represented by Robertson (2). Food. Manifold. Orona—Strang (3), O. Robinson. The game was fairly oven in the first three spells, when each side scored two goals. In tho final spells Orona forced the play and added five more goals, tho visitors scoring one more in the fifth snoll. The game was stubbornlv contested from the commencement and few opportunities to score were neglected. The team to represent New Zealand in the match against Victoria, on Friday will bo tho same that was defeated in the last representative match at Palmerston North, viz.:—Messrs! Robinson, Strang, N. Wilson and K. Dalrymple.
