A CIVIL LIST COMMITTEE. , THE CORONATION OATH. (.Received March 13, 0.26 a.m.) LONDON. March 12. In the House of Commons a King’s Civil List Committee was appointed, consisting ■' of thirteen Unionists and eight members of' the Opposition. Mr Henry Labouchero is a member of the committee. Sir Michael Hicks-Beach, Chancellor of the Exchequer, said he was confident adequate provision would be made for the head of a world-wide Empire. Mr John Redmond icfused to nominate any representatives of the Nationalist party on the committee. ine “Times” anticipates that Parliament will grant the King £400,000 per annum, and the Queen £50,000, the Duke and Duchess of Cornwall £50,000, and the King’s daughters each £6OOO.
