A daring attempt at burglary was made on the premises of Messrs Smith and Oangfaey, drapers, in Q street., Yesterday morning on opening the it was found that the safe had be ea with. A hole had been. AtiHed in the door of the safe, a dynamite cartridge inserted, and a fuse attached. The burglars had made mortar from materials found at the back of the dwp and had placed it anrand the «rtndges to deaden the sound.
