A PRINTER’S MISFORTUNE

The particulars’ of a serious misfortune which overtook Mr W. Filmer, a printer, residing at Abbott street, West Maitland (N.S.W.), have been gathered by our reporter.

Mr Filraer’a long and honourable connection' with tho "Maitland Mercury” has caused him tp be well known and respected throughout Maitland, where groat sympathy has been expressed for him, It appWß that some time pgq he fell away to a mere skeleton, the .result of diarrhoea, which became chronic. He was very often soisiod with fainting fits, due to weakness, which tho diarrhoea caused, his food gays him. little strength, and despite the best of treatment ho did not recover.
