A match between the Combined Drapers and the Oriental Club was commenced at the Basin Reserve yesterday afternoon, but was not concluded, stumps having to be drawn early on account of rain and bad light. The Drapers, in their first innings, made 167 rims (Dixon 79, Gibson 20, Paul 18). Billmon took five wickets for 63 runs and Fulton three for 31. The Orientals, at drawing of stumps, had compiled 29 runs for four wickets (Cooke 13).
