During the month ending on Thursday last 53,404:02 gold, of the value of £204,261, was exported from New Zealand, as) against 18,1260 z, valued at £67,369, in February of last year. Last month Dunedin exported 17,4890 z, of the value of £71,052; Auckland, 15724 oz, of the value of £57,437; Greymouth, 14,73702, of the value of £54,944; Nelson, 32320 z, of the value of £11,938; Westport, 12870 z, of the value of £5150; Invercargill, 9350 z, of the value of £3740. Since the beginning of the present year 75,2970 z, of the value of £287,960, has been exported, or 18,8830 z, valued at £69,102, more than during January and February of last year. The quantity of silver exported! last month was 48,8190 z (all from Auckland), its value being £5227. In February of last year only 29,5930 z of the value of £3459, was sent away.
