NAPIER, March 5. Messrs Williams and Kettle, at their Waipukurau monthly slock sale to-day. offered a very full yarding of sheep and cattle. There was a largo attendance of West Coast and Canterbury buyers. Cattle realised from £2 15s for yearling steers up to £6 11s 6d for 3-year-old bullocks; fat, heavy cows, £6 16s Gd. Sheep, in sympathy with outside markots, showed a fall in prices. The best lots were passed, bub a number of lines were quitted at from 9s to 12s 6d for 2 and 4-tooth ewes; 8s to 11s for 2-tooth wethers; 9s 9d to 10s 4d for 4 and 6tooth wethers, inferior and medium sorts.
