DOCTORS IN CONFERENCE

FBZSS ASSOCIATION,

WANGANUI, March 4. The annual meeting of the New Zealand Branch of the British Medical AssociaSSm opened here this morning. Dr Young, of Wellington, was appointed to represent New Zealand at the annual meeting of the English Association. Dr Colquhoun, Dunedin, was elected president of the next conference. Dr Collins was elected president of the Council, and Dr Campbell (Christchurch) ParliSmentary secretary. Dr Mason was reelected editor of the “Medical Journal,” and it was decided to invite the centres to appoint sub-editors. At the evening session Dr Thomas, the retiring president, inducted the president-elect. Dr Saunders, into the chair. Dr Saunders delivered a thoughtful and instructive Address on some “diseases incidental to school life, with methods of combating them. On the motion of Dr Mason a. vote of thanks was accorded Dr Saunders.
