Sir James Hector and the Hou W. Roihston are passengers by the Rotoiti which left Onehunga for Wellington yesterday afternoon.

The Dairy Commissioner, Mr J. A. Kinsella, intends paying a visit of inspection to the Marlborough dairy factories tins week.

Sir VAstby Perceval, a former M.H.R. lor Christchurch, and recently AgentGeneral for the colony in London, is at present on a visit to Wellington. His Excellency the Governor and Captain Alexander arrived at the Spa Hotel from Tokaanu on Sunday afternoon. They will remain at the Spa until this morning, when they will leave for Waiotapu.

Mr .Arthur Adams, who was formerly a, well-known newspaper reporter in AVellington, and lately visited China as the representative of a syndicate of New Zealand papers, returned to Sydney by the Guthrie last week.
