WESLEYAN CONFERENCE.
THIRD DAY. The Wesleyan Conference resumed its sittings at two o’clock ou Saturday afternoon. After devotional exercises the Rev Richard Harding, a member of the English Wesleyan Conference, delivered an address. Congratulations to the president (Rev C. H. Garland), and members of the conference were received by cable from tho presidents of the Victorian, New South Wales, South Australian and Queensland Wesleyan Conferencesnow in session. Tho Rev. W. J. Williams (Auckland) and Mr William Shopperd Allen were appointed ministerial and lay representatives respectively to theCEcumenical Conference to be held in London on Sept 4. Ministerial substitute, Rev Alfred Peters; law substitutes, Messrs T. Allen, Thomas Jackson. A. C. Caughoy, J. C. Allen and Isaac Wilson. The consideration of recommendations to tho General Conference occupied the ir-mainder of the session, and an adjournment was made till 9.15 o’clock this morning.
