DUKE OF CORNWALL'S TOUR
LONDON, March 1
The Supplementary Naval Estimates include a sum of £43.000 for alterations to the steamer Ophir in connection wifcn the visit of the Duke and Duchess of York to the colonies.
The Premier informed a deputation of Maoris representing tribes south of the Manawatu River on Saturday, that the Duke and Duchess of Cornwall would not have time to pay a visit to the natives of tho .West Coast of the North' Island while in New Zealand.
