PROPOSED INDUSTRIAL SETTLEMENT. I (Received February 28, 0.41 a.m.) 1 SYDNEY, February 27. Tho Wesleyan Conference has approved of a resolution for the establishment of a. mission industrial settlement in the Eland: of Ulu, New. Britain. 1 The mission has secured 515 acres of i land, and intends to plant cocoa-nut £ palms, and bring over bands of natives from: New Ireland to work at tho settlement.
