evidence at the inquest. (Received February 27, 0.10 a.m.) SYDNEY, February £6. The inquest on the victims of the Sydenham Railway disaster was resumed to'iay. An inspector gave evidence that the end of a rail at a joint u6ar the place whore, the engine left tie line was from a quarter to three-eighths of an inch low. but ho said he did not consider it dangerous. Other evidence went to show that the lino and engine were in good order, and that the train was travelling at the usual rate.
