CATHOLICS AND THE KING
LONDON, February 25. Cardinal Vaughan has ordered a communion of reparation to be celebrated in every Roman Catholic Church on the second, Sunday in Lent, owing to the King’s statutory declaration on his accession that the sacrifice of the Mass was superstitious and idolatrous.
