AUSTRALASIAN TOUR. SYDNEY', February 2G. Air Chamberlain has cabled to Lord Hopetouu that tho time-table proposed in connection with the visit of the Duke and Duchess of Cornwall did not quite fall in with the transit arrangements. In consequence tho visits to Victoria and New South Wales will each have to bo curtailed by one day, and that to New Zealand by one or two days, in order to allow of arrival and departure cm tho dates arranged. (Received February 26, 9.45 p.m.) LONDON, February 26. Sir Arthur Lawley, the new Governor of Western Australia, will accompany tiio Duko and Duchess of Cornwall in tho steamer Ophir to Australia. During the visit of the Duke and Duchess of Cornwall co Wellington an evening reception will be held at Government House. Owing to the Court mourning there will be no balls, levees or drawing-rooms.
