VICTORIA r. MANAWATU. press association. ’ PALMERSTON. February 25. The polo match Victoria y. Manawatu was played to-day in splendid weather. There was a large attendance. The game which was fast and well contested, resulted in a win for Victoria by 8 goals to 4 Messrs Manifold. Hood, Affleck and Robertson represented the visitors, and Messrs A. S. Baker, Abraham (2), and White Manawatu. Messrs Manifold and A. S. Baker played conspicuously throughout the game. The visitors will play Oroua on Wednesday.
