Addressing the chiefs and the pupils of the Raj Kumar College,: Lord Curzon said that the college was doing a noble ■work, for the rising, generation of the princely and aristocratic families of Kathiawar and-Gujerat. He would appeal to the ruling families of Bombay generously to contribute -to the support of the institution, and to .send their sons and grandsons to it, as the influence of the college was of inestimable value on the well-being and good government of the province.
