IMPERIAL TROOPS.
THE VISIT TO NEW ZEALAND. ' INDIAN TROOPS ALSO COMING. The Hon J. G. Ward, Acting-Premier, has received a memorandum from the Deputy-Governor stating that ho has been advised 'that the arrangements in connection 'with the visit of the Imperial troops to New Zealand are to ho left to the Government of the colony. The stay of the troops in Now Zealand is not to exceed ten days, including day of arrival and day of departure. The Deputy-Governor has also been •advised that the Viceroy of India has acceded to the ,request made by the Now Zealand Government that the Indian Contingent now in Australia, should visit this colony. (Received January 19, 1.8 a.m.) ADELAIDE. January 18. The Government has been' informed that the Imperial troops will reach here in February, after their visit to New Zealand.
