YACHTING
The following yachts have been entered for the Fort Nicholson Yacht Club's Handicap Race (the first of the series), which is to be sailed to-morrow afternoon : —Bona Muhina, Syren and Kotiri. The start will be made from an imaginary line drawn, from the south-east corner of the Queen’s Wharf to the destructor chimney. There will be no race for first-class yachts as the Maritana is the only one in commission at present. The Ngaire and Wailaugi are still on tho hard, and the latter boat is likely to remain so for a time in order that she may got a good drying so as to bo in going order for the Lyttelton regatta on New Year’s Day. There are no entries for the third-class event.
