SYDNEY, July 14. The special correspondent of tho “Sydney Morning Herald,” describing the occupation of Johannesburg, says:-—Until Lord Robertses advance guard came up things were mixed. People shot each other down in alleyways and, round corners. No one know whether the English or the Dutch were in possession. It was every man for himself. My friend found himself at the head of about a dozen Tommies, shooting promiscuously everybody out of uniform that ran anywhere in sight. When the main body came up tho Dutch were all driven away and ran north.
