The D.I.C. is now holding its winter sale.

Mr Ryan, late of the Chib Hotel, Carterton, announces that ho has taken over tb© Oriental Hotel, Willis street. The residents are notified by advertisement that fq r the future they will bo able to obtain fresh fish every evening at !1 o’clock at the lowest possible price for cash, at the new shop, just opened in Molesworth street, opposite the House of Parliament,' and orders will be received and promptly attended to for rabbits, fish, poultry, oysters, etc. The favourite steamer Duco will run to Day’s Bay this afternoon at • the usual hour. The barque Bessfield will begin discharging this morning. .
