The match between the Australian cricketers and the Nottinghamshire eleven was begun to-day at the Trer.tfaridgo ground, Nottingham, but was interrupted b\‘ rain at an early stage. The weather was unsettled, the wicket soft, and the attendance of the public small. Tho county team consists of A. Shrewsbury, W. Gunn, J. A. Dixon, A. 0. Jones, W. Attewell, J.. Gunn, T. Wass, P. Mason, T. Oates, Hardstaff, andi Goodacre.
