——— AUSTRALASIAN CELEBRATIONS. Yesterday was thof 123rd anniversary of the declaration of American independence. (Received July 4, KJ.55 p.m.) SYDNEY, Tuesday.

The anniversary of American Independence was celebrated here with enthusiasm. The city was decorated with flags, and the warships also displayed bunting. American and English bluejackets fraternised ,in the streets. The American residents entertained the Governor (Lord . Beanchamp) at luncheon. .
