VICTORIAN BUTTER EXPORTS.
THE EFFECT OF THE DROUGHT. MELBOURNE, Tuesday. The value of the butter exported from the colony in the past season is £670,000, a decrease of £272,000 as compared with the previous season. It is estimated that the drought or the last four years has affected the butter exports to the extent of £1,000,000. The total value of the perishable products exported in the past season was £1,013,000.
