THE CAPTAIN’S RESOURCEFULNESS. Adelaide, Tuesday. The captain of the barque Ladstock, which has just arrived from Liverpool, reports that on 4th January, .whilst in midocean, the majority if the crew refused to work, and demanded that the vessel be steered for the nearest port. The captain locked the mutineers in the galley, divided the boys and two men who remained loyal into watches, and by showing a revolver he kept the mutineers in check. Eventually, two of them agreed to work, and with their assistance the ship was brought short-handed over BCCO miles in safety to port.
