CONFERENCE OF PREMIERS.
THE NEW GUINEA SYNDICATE. Received January 21, 1.1 B a.m. Memoubhi, January 23. At the conference of Premiers of Victoria, New South Wales and Queensland it was decided to continue to pay the cost of administration of New Guinea out of the accumulated surplus till March Slat. An'other conference is to he held later on to decide on a course of action with reference to the cabled statement that the New Guinea Land Syndicate concession had been disallowed/' The Premier (Sir George Turner) states that nothing offic ; al was known about it.
