The secretary, Mr Hema Te Ao, will receive moneys for investment on the totalisator up to the Bth for the first day’s racing. On the second day a telegraph office will, be open on the course. Complaints having been made by rettlors concerning people trespassing on their property and breaking down fences when proceeding to the course the filub cautions the public against the practice, and intimates that any person caught doing so will be charged double gate fee. The entrance gate has been made closer to the township, and consequently more convenient for the patrons of the races.
