TARANAKI IRONSAND OR MAGNETIC IRON ORE.
TO THE EDITOR, Sib,— Please exouse me again troubling you to insert the following remarks, but stern necessity knows no law. In addition to commenting on the material Mr Edison is using for cementing the magnetic iron ore together with, I frankly admitted that I had taken out provisional protection for using glass for this purpose ; and also made some remarks about the different materials suitable for this purpose. I would be pleased to learn that someone had profited by these remarks, and in order to put those who know so much about it on their mettle, I challenge anyone to find a more suitable material. To those who have endeavoured and are endeavouring to frustrate mo in carrying out the plans I have already stated to several gentlemen, for my own interest and in the interest of the colony I respectfully request them to do it openly and oblige. I am, &0..
Ai,ex. Coubrough, Engineer, s.s. Hiua,
