S, MESSRS McNAB AND WARD NOMINATED. By Telegraph. — Press'/ ssodaiion. Invercaeoill, May 17. Messrs Robert McNab and W. F. Ward were the only oandidates nominated for Mataura. It was understood that had the Hon Mr Richardson been in a position to be nominated, Mr MoNab would have retired and allowed him to be returned unopposed. This intention, although it canuot be carried out, has mot with general approval, and Me McNab is commended for it.
