By Telegraph.—Press Association.—Cop yright. Received December 20, C p.m. Melbourne, December 19. . The cycling contests betysrecn.-Parsohs and Martin took place.to-day. Iu tho mile race Martin won, Tho pace was very blow until the last lap, when, after a splendid finish the American won by half a wheel. Time, 3mln 23 l-ssec. The five-mile race was a gift to Martin, who established a long lead from the start, and Parsons, who never had a chance, pulled out in tho last lap. Time, lOmin 23 l-sseo. Martin went out alone, and lowered the ten-mile Australian record, covering tho distance in 2lmin 24 4-ssoc. Sydney, December 18. At the Cyclists* Union meeting tho Tenmile Amateur Championship of Now South Wales was won by New; Cameron, second j Hamilton, third. Time, 26min 37aec.
