Tho Senior Championship matches will be resumed on the Basin Reserve this afternoon. In the Wellington-Rival match, the former have put up tho big total of 'HI for five wickets. In tho other match, Midland v. ?hccnix, tbo former have scored 201 for seven wickets; which gives them a lead so far of 137, and they have still throe wickets to fall. The D Battery play a scratch match with a team from the Wellington Club on tbo College Ground this afternoon.
